Really interesting mix! The glitching/distorted sounds kept me hooked somehow...

However I found it hard to make sense of the the melody of the drop. Because of that, I also had a hard time distinguishing the new elements in the second drop. I also think that the glitching sounds may lack a pinch of reverb at times (though that's picky I guess).

Otherwise, that was cool. The mixing is great, the transitions are fluid and the melodies are enjoyable. Keep it up! <3

OrangeKeyboard responds:

The second drop actually has different chord progression, thanks dude

Got chills in the beginning. Really good introduction and transitions!

However, I found the drop(s) to be different from what I expected. I think the first half of it misses a snare sample. If using a snare for the whole drop makes it too repetitive, then I'd suggest you find something different to do in the second half. Also, the first and the second drops are too similar to my taste.

Otherwise, I really liked the very skilled use of reverb. Overall it's a great piece.
Keep it up!

Did you mean "KnightMares" instead of "KinghtMares"? (notice the swap of the letters "i" and "n")

SlaughterClub responds:

its the same spelling .. ?

This reminds me of The Glitch Mob. Well done! :)

Midnights-Ocean responds:

Thank you. : )

I know this isn't my business, but I can't help it: I think you shouldn't say "not a nice one" as the first thing people will read. As a listener, I tend to expect the song to be of low quality when I see that in the description. I should not be the only one with this impression (and generally, the expectations of people are their reality :P).

By the way, the same structure appears to be used in this song and the previous one you posted. This is simply a suggestion: you could try to use unorthodox structures. Under certain circumstances, it might even be a necessary evil >:D (I'm speculating here)

thx 4 feed back bro it's really help me

Really great composition! I enjoyed it all.

The background instrument that starts at around 0:29 and that ends at 00:56 might lack a small bit of reverb. More precisely, I think it would make the whole section emotionally deeper if you let the reverb last a little longer on each note. Next, at 02:34, the pace of change in the volume of the main instrument might be a bit too abrupt.

While maybe from 00:00 to 01:52 the mood doesn't change enough to me, as a whole, I think it's pretty much complete. I'm allowing myself to point at some stuff that could have been adjusted better *in my opinion*, but in the end this was interesting.

Keep it up dude :)

thanks dud

The drum is well designed in general. For instance, the different percussions at around 1:20 and the small 3/8 pause before the 7 beats really prepares you to what comes next.

The progressive crescendo that starts at around 1:16.5 becomes to high-pitched at 1:20. I was expecting it to either 1) restart low-pitched and loop twice or 2) come with a modifier that somehow hides a bit the saw shape of the sound (i.e. be it distortion or literally a change of shape (not sure what to use here, but I see the raw saw shape of this instrument as a problem)).

This "raw instrument" problem affects in fact the "main" instrument of the first "drop" at 1:22. It gives me the impression that you worked less on this part of the song and gives it a less meaningful/authentic taste.

However, everywhere where there is bass, I hear this problem less.

If I'm not wrong, you used a low-pass filter at the beginning on the piano-like instrument. That was a good idea, and indeed makes a contrast with the introduction that comes next.

I don't hear those fast "integral" crescendo (with the piano) a lot. I think this alone makes your song quite unique and adds some depth to it.

To be honest, I feel inspired.

Hippokopter responds:

Thanks man. I'm not the best at buildups, haha. I think I understand what you mean with the whole buildup saw issue. Had I recognized the issue before publishing, I probably would have automated the spread (difference in pitches between unison voices, to be clear) to be wider and wider, to give it a bit more of a restless feeling, I guess. Something to remember for the future, right?

I'll be reviewing some of your songs shortly. :P

Perfect for programming, in my case. It was beautiful.

Also, thank you very much for the space trip! :D

larrynachos responds:

Anytime ;) Thanks for the review Abstrack!

I want to go back home. It's been so long, I don't know anymore when it is that I'm heading to. I'm so far away.
This is why I'm working on my multidimensional teleporter. I will one day go back home and recover my past; in the future.
